Well, today was a really long day and I think tomorrow I’ll wake up without a voice. So I’ll try to rest.

PS our JH juniors placed 2nd! Against 11 other junior teams! Amazing how much we’ve done, thinking of our conditions eh? Haha, oh man we aren’t done yet. Keep it going JH! Proud of you guys!
JH junior dance team
We’re weird. Remember back in grade 8 when we started? Rough. Grade 9? We didn’t even compete with other highschools. This year, it’s almost like we jumped from rags to riches. Still dancing in our caf, no mirrors, a bunch of people staring at us practice, a loud atmosphere, almost no support from the student body.. We’ve made it so far.
This year was tough, especially for myself with this team. We’ve been through a lot. Drama, backstabbing, useless fights, etc. But I’m glad we can all look past it, and accept one another not as individuals but as a team.
Tomorrow is the last competition for us as juniors. We’ve made it so far for JH. Like for real, we actually made the first dance team reputation for JH. Cool. We’re getting more and more support as time goes on. I think we’re the only school that is so independent. We weren’t given a dance program to eat off of that.. We had the passion to make our own dance team, organize going to our own competitions. We’re so independent, I love it haha. You guys are true blessings in my life. Thank you all for allowing me go grow as a dancer, teacher, and most of all friend.
Tomorrow isn’t the end of us! It marks a new beginning. So heads high juniors, remember that winning is just a bonus. The true passion comes out when you perform your best, showing your talents and uplifting them to Him. Your passion isn’t to win, it is to dance. See you guys tomorrow, God bless.
